Fairbanks 2-day Grantwriting Overview
August 4-5, 2011 (sponsored by UAF/Community and Technical College in Fairbanks)
This class qualifies for 1 UAF Professional Development credit.
Price: $400 + $60 UAF credit fee (optional). UAF fee due the first day of class.
Each student will receive a copy of The Funding Exchange’s grantwriting handbook, The Art of Grantwriting – Communicating Your Vision to Funders.
Two-Day Grantwriting Workshop
This is an introductory class to the world of grants, introducing the participant to where to look for funding sources, writing simple grant proposals, and some of the requirements and jargon of this world.
The goal of this workshop is for students to leave the class with an idea of the best places to look for the types of funds they are seeking, writing a basic grant proposal, and the most effective ways to approach potential funders.
AFE's grantwriting handbook, The Art of Grantwriting: Communicating your Vision to Funders, (a $99 value) is included in the price of this class.
