Two-Day Grantwriting Workshop
This is an introductory class to the world of grants, introducing students to the best places to look for funding sources. The class is an overview of the world of grants, introducing students to the best places to look for the types of funds they are seeking; getting organized to streamline the grantwriting process; the basics of writing a grant proposal; and familiarizing students with the terminology and structure of the field of grantseeking. Handouts and presentation slides will be provided to students. Review the topics covered in the Overview class here.
Although not required for the class, students may purchase AFE's grantwriting handbook, The Art of Grantwriting: Communicating your Vision to Funders, at the time of registration for $50 (a 50% discount over retail).
