Staff Changes

This summer has found The Funding Exchange undergoing a few staff changes:

Deborah Johnson, our Project Coordinator, has moved into a contractor status and will continue to assist us with funding research and writing on a part-time basis. We’ve appreciated her organizational skills and her ability to keep us all working in complimentary directions, and we’re happy to continue to have her skills on tap for our clients!

Morgan Thomas, our IT go-to guy, has graduated high school and will be heading off to college in Montana in the fall. Morgan has the amazing ability of being able to research and learn any IT project we set before him! This summer he’ll continue working on Funding Exchange projects in addition to his “big money” job with the state, and we hope his class schedule will allow him to continue with us throughout college.

Adrian Kohrt is our new Project Coordinator, and the voice you’ll hear regularly when you call the Funding Exchange office. She grew up Ketchikan, Alaska. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master’s degree in Adult Education, Distance Learning and Educational Technologies.

Adrian has worked in a variety of jobs ranging from substitute teacher, medical secretary, and office manager. She is married and has three sons.

In her spare time Adrian enjoys reading, music, singing with her church praise band and participating in community theater. Adrian has a little known geek side to her personality which she swears she has inherited from her children. She participates in a Live Action Role Playing group that allows her the opportunity to interact with her family in a fun and active fashion.

Now that Adrian's children are in school, she’s returned to the world of outside employment with the Funding Exchange, and we’re very happy to have her!
