Stabilize Your Organization’s Fundraising in These Tough Economic Times

Are you and your organization willing to invest 5 fast-paced days to make definite plans to secure your organization’s financial future?

As part of The Funding Exchange’s commitment to helping nonprofits and agencies weather these challenging economic times, this month we are rolling out a new training aimed specifically at ensuring the financial stability of nonprofit organizations.

“Sustainable Pathways: Developing Financially Healthy Organizations” is a 5-day workshop that walks you -- and up to two of your colleagues -- through an analysis of your organization’s current fundraising activities and gives you step-by-step guidance and direction as you create a balanced funding plan for the next 18-24 months.
You’ll learn about:

  • Trends in Funding in Today’s Economic Climate
  • How to Analyze Your Current Fundraising Activities
  • Determining Fundraising Objectives & Developing a Strategy
  • The 8 Methods of Fundraising
  • Documenting a Plan for the Upcoming 18-24 Months
  • Creating a Timeline for Activities
  • Assigning Activities to People
  • Getting Your Plan Underway

Alaska Funding Exchange and GrantStation CEO’s Sharon Gherman and Cindy Adams will co-teach the initial 5-day workshop in Fairbanks on February 23-27. Cost for 1- 3 participants from the same organization is $1560, which includes 2 credits of professional development credit from UAF for the primary registrant. Register online and call us at (907)451-0885 if you have questions. Classes are limited to 12 teams on a first-come, first-served basis.
