The Funding Exchange’s next Grantwriting Overview webinar series is scheduled for February 9, 10, 16 & 17, 2010 at:

Noon - 2:00 p.m. CST
11:00 a.m. 1:00 p.m. MST
10:00 a.m. - Noon PST
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. AST
This is an overview class to the world of grants where moderately-experienced grantwriters will review and update their skills. We’ll learn the best places to find the type of funds you are seeking; gain tips for getting organized to work efficiently; and review the basics of writing a competitive grant proposal; and briefly discuss how to create an evaluation plan.
Beginning or aspiring grantwriters will gain a wealth of information about the world of grants. While the course is not intended to replace a hands-on grantwriting intensive for beginners, it will introduce them to the world of grants, familiarize them with grantwriting terms and concepts, and start them out with good grantwriting habits.
The Grantwriting Overview will be delivered in four two-hour webinar sessions followed by an open question-and-answer session for those who wish to participate. Each session will include handouts of samples and resources you can use in your grantwriting. Sharon Gherman, President/CEO of the Funding Exchange will moderate this workshop series.
