Today, Fairbanks thrives as a major tourist attraction and regional hub for Interior Alaskan communities.
  • Fairbanks North Star Borough (www.co.fairbanks.ak.us) - With nearly 85,000 residents, the borough houses two military bases, the northern terminus for the Alaska Railroad, extensive sightseeing and a wealth of natural resources (including oil, coal, and timber) making it very attractive to commercial business.
